I am honoured to be invited as a keynote speaker entitled at the 22nd World Congress of Gerontology and Geriatrics, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 12-16 June 2022 (see https://iagg2022.org/keynote-speakers). My talk is titled: ‘Family Care of Older Persons in Southern Africa: Unsustainable and inequitable care practices.’ At the congress, I will be joined in a Presidential Symposium panel by colleagues from COPSAN (Care of Older Persons Southern Africa Network) including Thandie Hlabana, Isaac Kabelenga and Janet Ananias.
