Elena will be moderating a session at the Demographic Changes and Family Wellbeing in Africa Expert Group Meeting hosted by The University of Pretoria. The session will focus on families and ageing, specially paying attention to major trends in aging in Africa, current and projected long term care needs of older persons in the region, formal and informal care institutions and the role of policy in supporting active aging within families.
