In October, Elena, held a book launch at AGI. Together with four of the authors of the edited book, Generation, Gender and Negotiating Custom in South Africa (Routledge, 2022) Elena presented the overview of the book, the findings, themes and argument of the book. Attended by colleagues, students and friends, they spent the evening hearing from the authors and engaging in questions on custom and society in South Africa.
